第25届北京国际图书博览会上，商务印书馆和牛津大学出版社联合举行新书发布会，推出《牛津高阶英汉双解词典》（第9版）和《牛津学术英语词典》，并举行国际编辑部揭牌仪式。
……此次同时推出的《牛津学术英语词典》是一部新型词典：具有内容新和立意新的特点，曾获英国文化协会“学习资源创新奖”。该词典特别重视语言的运用和产出，专门满足读者求学进阶的需要，帮助读者以英语为媒介，学习各个科目的专业知识，真正做到了让英语从“为我所学”升级成“为我所用”。它是商务印书馆“内容创新”和“知识服务”两翼协同发展的成果。至此，商务-牛津系列词典已经形成了全品类、广领域、多层次、大规模的产品线格局，成果丰硕，蔚为大观。
北京大学英语系教授、著名语言学家胡壮麟在发布会上向广大读者介绍了这两本词典，对其内容特点、功能体现进行了具体举例分析，他特别指出了《牛津高阶英汉双解词典》（第9版）适应时代新特点新要求的新内容，对英语学习者提供了助力；而《牛津学术英语词典》对更高一层英语学习者和使用者具有专业指导作用。
